I am selling my 1967 Corvette 427 390hp 4 speed matching numbers car. The 3 owner car only has 62, 930 original
miles. Car includes the original window sticker from when the car was purchased new, protect-o-plate and owner’s
manual to validate that the car is a true 427 car. The original options the car was built with and can be seen on
the window sticker are: (M21) 4 speed transmission, (A01) Tinted glass, (L36) 390 HP 427 turbojet engine, (U69)
AM/FM radio which still works but will need a new dash speaker because the volume is low, and (G81) positract 370
ratio rear-end. Additional factory options that have been installed on the car are: (N36) Telescopic steering
column, (N40) power steering, (N14) side mount exhaust system, (N89) cast aluminum wheels, (QB1) redline tires 7.78
X 15, and (J50) power brakes.
The interior is in perfect shape. The paint is driver quality, it is too nice to repaint to make it perfect. The
previous owner owned a paint shop and did the car’s one and only repaint 18-20 years ago (15 of those years it
was in storage). You can tell the paint job was a quality paint job when it was done. There is an inch long scratch
in-between the passenger door and front fender (mainly on the fender), it’s hard to see in the pictures.
The car runs and drives excellent. The previous owner had the car stored in an enclosed storage unit in Palm
Springs, CA for 15 years. Because the car was stored for long, the car's systems/drivetrain has been completely
inspected.
The following has been done to the car in order to make it reliable and dependable:
· The carburetor (which is numbers matching with the correct date code) has been completely restored.
· 4 new brakes calipers (I kept the original ac delco calipers for the next owner) and a new master
cylinder has been installed.
· The steering system was completely gone through including new hoses, new steering cylinder, and new
steering control valve.
· Brand new Redline tires. 7.75 X 15
· New rear main seal, oil pan gasket and clutch was installed. The clutch that came out I kept and is
still in good condition.
· The fuel tank was drained and a new sending unit and all new fuel lines where installed. I kept the
original sending unit that came out of the car.
· A new heater core and gaskets have been installed. Kept the original.
· A new carpet kit was installed. The one before it was still in great shape but it was missing one of the
pieces from the rear section and decided it would be best to install a whole new carpet kit to ensure everything
matched.
· A new 4 speed shifter was installed. I kept the original.
· New date coded steel braided spark plug wires were installed.
· New starter.
· New Battery and battery cables.
· Compete tune up on the car: cap, rotor, spark plugs, hoses, oil, and etc.
· There are a lot of little things that have been done that I’m sure I’m missing.
Overall the car is in excellent shape inside and out. If you noticed in the pictures, the car doesn’t have the
front window left and right top trim pieces installed, I have the originals and just need to install them still.
The car comes with the original window sticker, protect-o-plate, owner’s manual and all the original parts that
came off the car that I listed above (if you want them).
